Bear Valley Springs Mulligan Room Restaurant

Update: We love this place. The food is always delicious and the ambience is cozy and warm with a great view of the golf course. We have always enjoyed their excellent staff, especially Ashley, as they are all very professional and bend over backwards to ensure a pleasant and perfect meal. Their selection of dishes is plentiful and their prices are exceptionally reasonable; especially with their generous portions. Last night I ordered my usual Friday evening Grilled Salmon, Baked Potato, and a giant and delicious bowl of their Clam Chowder; and everything was - PERFECT! I highly recommend this BVS treasure! —- This was our first time @The Mulligan Room, since buying a place up here last year. I walked through it when we bought up here and was not overly impressed. So, I decided to focus my dining-related visits at The Oaks Restaurant. That was until yesterday, when we decided to give the Mulligan Room a try. The food was excellent, well-portioned, and provided at a great value. The service was excellent as well. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was served with a mound of excellently prepared French Fries. The sandwich had a great flavor and reminded me of the Hard Rock Cafe's pulled pork sandwich, which I love. We will certainly be back.

The location is great, golf putters out the window, or the squriels are line dancing on the grass. Then the servers are always fun and nice. For me, it's the Club Sandwitch, it is fantastic. Everything I have eaten there is good and well worth the price. The patio is huge, the whole experience is a casual Country Club experience.

Brooke provided the most gracious, informative, and efficient service that I have experienced in years. Combined with the two fantastic chefs, they make this restaurant an unforgettable culinary experience. The biscuits and sausage gravy were expert level. Buttermilk pancakes, flawless perfection. Homemade hash browns. Chef's own green house salsa, beautifully balanced. A special California omelet teeming with bacon and fresh avocado. Crab Eggs Benedict special. Breakfast Carnitas. A holiday special Cider Mimosa. If you are in the Bear Valley community, seek out Brooke. You won't find better food or service for a hundred miles. Going back for dinner!
